Alexandra Bogdan - personal experience
Reflecting now on everything that creating this website over the summer vacation has meant, I can say that, for me, it has been an unprecedented experience, even new from certain perspectives, but one through which I certainly had a lot to learn.
Moreover, I am sure that both I and my colleagues faced the challenge of time management and task prioritization. Since it was vacation, it was sometimes difficult to synchronize our schedules, but together we managed to find the right moments.
Lastly, every technical issue we encountered along the way was, for me, an opportunity to learn something new. Even though they sometimes seemed impossible to resolve, we learned to view these challenges not as barriers, but as true opportunities for growth and learning. Furthermore, even the topic of the website was valuable, as it required thorough research and led me to discover things I might never have learnt about the history of the European Union, the lives, careers, and roles of each pioneer.
Additionally, this entire experience had a significant impact on the development of my skills in the English language. Working on a website in this language pushed me to improve my specialized vocabulary, to pay more attention to the nuances of expression, and to always find alternative ways to rephrase various ideas.
Therefore, this experience played a formative role for me, being the opportunity through which I was able to grow in many aspects, both professionally and personally.
